KC Equipment is proud to announce the acquisition of respected Buderim equipment supplier, Buderim Mountain Mowers, from owners Rob and Kathy Thow.

While Rob will remain with the business as Branch Manager to support a smooth transition, Kathy will be pursuing a new direction. The acquisition, which took place in January, ensures continuity of service for existing Buderim Mountain Mowers customers.

As part of this exciting development, KC Equipment will relocate the business to a new, expanded site in 101 Enterprise Street Kunda Park. This move will allow for significant growth, including the introduction of new brands and a broader product range to better serve the Sunshine Coast community. Importantly, customers can expect to see the same familiar local team across Sales, Parts, and Workshop operations.

KC Equipment currently operates three established branches in Yatala, Murwillumbah, and Lismore. With this acquisition, KC Equipment becomes the exclusive AGCO dealer from north of Grafton through to Gympie and beyond.

The new Kunda Park branch will offer an extensive lineup of industry-leading equipment, including Massey Ferguson, Iseki, and Fendt tractors and implements, along with Cub Cadet and Gravely products. Customers will also benefit from a wide range of Bushranger commercial and domestic equipment, including trimmers, blowers, and mowers.

In line with KC Equipment’s full-service model, the Kunda Park branch will feature a fully equipped workshop, showroom, and parts department with the site opening six days a week.

A series of upgrades are planned over the coming months, ensuring the Sunshine Coast community enjoys an exceptional experience from their local equipment supplier.
